With four locations across Kenora, Ye Olde Chip Truck offers the best tasting fries from Vancouver Island to the Bay of Fundy.
Ye Olde Chip Truck opened in 1957 and has been a Kenora institution ever since. Current owners Ryan Landon and Daniel Thomson took over July 8th of 2015, and haven't stopped to look back.
Our "World Famous" fries are made from Manitoba potatoes, and are hand-cut every day. Four locations open daily all summer ensure the fry cravings of local residents and tourists alike are always met.

The fleet
While Market Square remains the nostalgic location many return to each summer for their fries, Ye Olde now boasts a fleet of four trucks!
Market Square "The Original"
Located at the heart of the city, this is the only truck open year round. Worth the trip on its own, this location is also a great place for a bite while taking in the vibrant Kenora downtown.

Discovery centre
By far the most scenic of all locations, this truck boats an amazing view of Lake of the Woods, and is conveniently located beside The Discovery Centre. Being the most western location, this truck is ideal for your first stop when entering the city, or a great stop on the way out!

CANADIAN TIRE
This location is off of the highway headed east out of Kenora. Open for the summer and part of the fall, this location serves as a great spot for those looking for a bite before heading east, or after shopping at one of the large retailers nearby.

Harbourfront
Located at the centre of Kenora's best summer events and activities, this location is a great spot for a number of occasions. Whether it be lunch on Farmer's Market days, or a much needed late night bite for events such as Harbourfest or Boobie Nights, this location has you covered.

While our fries are what we are known for, we also offer branded Ye Olde Chip Truck merchandise for sale as well. Our shirts are a hot commodity in the summer, and our hats have been seen from the islands of Lake of the Woods all the way to Pemberton Music Festival in British Columbia.
